What are YOU thankful for?

In my house, Thanksgiving marks the beginning of the holiday season. Of course, Thanksgiving is the day that most people think of as the one day during the year to “give thanks” for different things in their lives. ALERT TO ALL SMART GIRLS- while this is perfectly acceptable, it’s important to continue giving thanks throughout the entire holiday season! And even more, every day of our lives. We all have so much to be thankful for and blessed with, and we have a tendency to take these things for granted. I challenge you to come up with something you are grateful for at least for every day of this holiday season, and hopefully you’ll be inspired to continue this reflection tradition throughout the rest of the year!

Here’s a brief list of 4 things I’m thankful for that will maybe help you get started:

1. The constant support of my family and friends

2. That I have been given the opportunity to be able to be a part of the SGG

3. The opportunities my school has given to me to be able to learn and grow as a both a student and a person

4. Knowing I will always be blessed with food, shelter, education, family, and friends

So what are YOU thankful for, Smart Girls?
