Sweater Weather Already

Sweaters are a fabulous item of clothing. You can wear them with skirts, leggings, jeans, and even over dresses. The possibilities with sweaters are endless. There are cardigans, pullovers, cable knit, cashmere, quarter zip, over sized, and so many other styles. I don’t know where you live, but around the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, it already feels a lot like fall.
It is hard for me to take the sweaters out so early in the year. I feel like I just put away my white pants, seersucker shorts, and white Jack Rogers yesterday. I’m not ready for UGG’s, vests, and sweaters yet. Living on a dorm with limited space instead of living at home has also posed a challenge for me to shift my wardrobe from the fun, bright, and light weight clothes for the summer to the darker, heavier, and cozy clothes for the winter.
Sweaters can make it hard to show off your amazing body and all of its flawless features. It is all about finding the right cut and style. Dress codes can also get in the way of how you rock the best sweater you own. Long and over-sized sweaters are the best for those lazy days when you can’t find the energy to get out of bed. They also look great with a belt, to accent your waist or hips, a pair of leggings, and boots. A cardigan is the perfect sweater for all year long. Whether you’re covering up for the chilly nights in the summer or looking for a fun accent to a basic outfit, a cardigan works with almost everything in your closet. Long cardigans also go great with leggings and a tee shirt.
Want to look professional while still staying warm? Try a cable knit sweater with a pair of black jeans. Never shy away from a classic and colorful cable knit sweater. They really help brighten up your wardrobe in the winter. You can never go wrong with a cashmere sweater. They last forever and are far from itchy, in fact they are the softest, coziest sweater you’ll ever wear. Whether you wear it with a pair of khakis or jeans, you will be guaranteed to look fabulous.
Feel like your look is too plain or you’ll be too cold? Add your favorite scarf! Lilly Pulitzer Murfee Scarves are going to brighten up any plain outfit you have on. But any scarf will look good as long as you believe it looks good.
Winter is coming. That means it’s time to look smart and professional while staying warm and comfortable on the cold days.
