Spire Spaces: Create The Ultimate Girlboss Workspace

Girlboss Workspace

Maybe it’s that we are entering back to school season or perhaps it’s our Power Word at work, but I’ve been thinking quite a bit about what it means to have a personalized workspace.

I know I’m more productive when my desk chair is at a height where my arms are at a 90º angle while on my laptop and my feet are touching the floor (#shortgirlproblems). I love a stack of books featuring my favorite thought leaders and creators for when I need guidance. A vision board or inspirational quotes on the wall always reenergizes me when I start to drag. A bright light for late night work sessions is crucial for the night owl that I am.

These are all facts that have been true since the days of middle school homework. However, how often do we actively think about what we need in a workspace? I know I didn’t think too much about it until moving into my newest apartment, nearly twelve years later.

Unlike a bedroom or kitchen, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all checklist of what it is that we need to create the perfect desk space. It takes conscious thought. Because if there is one space that should speak to our souls, it’s the space where we put our unique talents to work.

Whether you’re moving into a brand new apartment, starting an office job, or just want to add a few additions to your desktop, here are 50 pieces, all under $100 that will inspire your inner girlboss.
