There are simple goals. One of mine each day is to get up in the morning! I know that for me, even minor objectives can be intimidating; sometimes it’s hard to find the strength to even carry out daily tasks. So, what happens when we set CRAZY goals? Those ideas might seem borderline impossible! You have nothing to fear, though–you can definitely accomplish anything you set your mind to. If you set really ambitious goals, you’ll never accomplish them if you can’t keep track of them! Therefore, it is so important to keep a schedule. Set deadlines for yourself, so you remain on task. Also, be sure to mark down how you’re going to spend each day to work towards achievement.
Take A Break
You should not be working every day. Note that it is crucial to take some time to yourself, and to take a step back from the intense schedule you created. Although it is necessary to adhere to the deadlines you developed, it is okay to relax! If you get too stressed out, you won’t be putting 100% into accomplishing your goals anyway, and you’ll work yourself too hard–it’s a lose-lose situation. So, don’t be afraid to breathe and take the time to reflect and refuel. You’ll be in better shape to complete your goals when you’re in a more calm state of mind!
Ask For Help
Don’t be afraid to ask for assistance. Nobody completes their goals entirely on their own. Therefore, it is unrealistic to put that much pressure on yourself to do it completely solo. Note that those who you ask are NOT achieving the goal for you, but rather providing you with support along the way. If you’re feeling stressed or concerned, talk to a close friend or family member about it. This way, you won’t feel like you’re facing challenges alone–and will recognize those behind you who want you to succeed.
Don’t Give Up
There will always be bumps along the way on the path to accomplishment. Recognize that these obstacles are perfectly normal, and happen to everyone! You are not alone, and can overcome what’s in your way. No crazy goal is easy, but that is no reason to be discouraged. If you pursue what you want with a determined attitude, nothing will get you down. So, hold on to what you believe in and keep a strong sense of self–you got this!
