Must-Have Pieces for Fall

It’s that time of year again! Not only is Fall the beginning of back to school, football games, and cooler temperatures, it is also my favorite season of fashion. The colors of fall are my absolute favorite. Layers of black, white, gray, and burgundy consume my wardrobe, not only during this time of year, but all year around. There’s no need to go out and break the bank- you more than likely have most of these pieces! Here are the must-have pieces you need for Fall:

Floral Top

Florals aren’t just for Spring anymore. Many designers and popular shopping hubs have incorporated florals into their collections and stores for the upcoming season. Instead of the bright floral prints, think darker prints that still add a touch of femininity.

Denim Everything

Naturally, this is one style that will never fade. One of my favorite pieces in my closet are my chambray shirts. You can dress it up or down, or even use it as a layering piece for chiller nights. Distressed jeans are still very popular, especially in the color black. They add an edge to any look!

Chokers

Another way to add edge to your look? Look no further than the choker. This little accessory comes in many different forms, such as elastic, beaded or wrapped. Forever 21 provides many affordable options if you know it’s a piece you don’t want to invest in. However, if you’re looking to invest, look towards Etsy and other online boutiques! There are so many cute options out there and many girls at my university purchase them at local boutiques- a great way to support local businesses and look fabulous!

Suede Skirt

Suede is a type of leather that translates beautifully onto any product-skirts, dresses, shoes..you name it, it looks good. It’s softness and thinness makes it hard not to love. I’ve seen many girls wear suede to football games or even out and about!

Sneakers

Whether you’re an athlete or a girl on-the-go,  sneakers can now be worn outside of the gym. Socialite Olivia Palermo will pair a white blouse, leather leggings, and black Nike’s to run errands while other women on the streets pair sneakers with skirts or jeans. Some chic sneakers are Adidas, Nike, New Balance, and Vans just to name a few.
